MODULE 2

Form School

Form School is the original school of Feng Shui based on topographical observations.  This Module covers the Feng Shui Analysis of the Land in terms of Landforms and the energetic qualities of a site.  Dowsing will be introduced as part of the landform studies.

Locating auspicious or inauspicious building sites and lots is an important aspect of Feng Shui.  The energy of the particularly shaped lot or a building can have an impact on its future inhabitants.

The principles of Form School also apply to our interiors, furniture placements and interior layouts.

MODULE 3

Chi, or the Energy

Chi, or the energy, is the electromagnetic energy which naturally moves through everything in our Universe.  There are two types of energy, the positive, or beneficial life energy or the negative, or harmful energy.

The flow of positive energy is greatly influenced by the amount of clutter in our space.  Clutter blocks the natural flow of energy creating stagnant feeling in our spaces preventing us from moving forward in our lives.  This Module will cover the negative aspects of clutter, the Sheng (positive) and the Sha (negative) energy as well as the balance of Yin and Yang in our environment.

The EMF, or the harmful electromagnetic fields, have negative effects on our health.  The extend of these negative fields will be discussed in detail in this Module.

MODULE 4

Core Concepts

Interaction between the Chi, Yin and Yang, the Five Elements and the Bagua are the key concepts for achieving balance in Feng Shui.  Chi, the positive and negative aspect of it have an impact on the flow of energy in our space.

The qualities of Yin and Yang help us to analyze the mood, feel and ambiance of the space.  How do we feel in our surroundings?  All things are complimentary, yet opposite.

The Five Elements in Feng Shui are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.  Interaction between these elements form the foundation theory for achieving Feng Shui balance and a well design space.

The Bagua, or the Energetic Map, is the tool in Feng Shui to diagnose energy qualities in the space and helps identify areas that need or wish to work on.  The Chi, Yin and Yang, Five Elements and Bagua are part of the discussion in this Module.
